PHOTOGRAPHY FOCUS: IPHONE, DSRL, MIRRRORLESS - whatever you shoot or want to learn in capturing —this is for you! We will learn still life, fashion & LIFESTYLE PORTRAITS, SETTING UP & CAPTURING A STILL LIFE SCENE+ styling it for the lens. Creating a strong eye and portfolio is never by accident — it’s by intention!
CREATIVE & ART DIRECTION: Curating a strong portfolio happens with intention, a keen eye, and art direction that stands out. We will have an array of shoot types each day to capture. I will walk you through my process, why i move things, re-arange things, and share all the knowledge I have learned in 16 years of photography. Whether you are a photograpHer, business owner lookinG to level up your content, or hobbyist - this is for you!
FLORAL DESIGN & STYLING
floral FOCuS:SUSTAINABLY GROWN, and SEASONAL FLOWERS will be one of the mediums used to practice and capture content with your camera in a STYLE WHICH brings INTO THOUGHTFUL ARRANGEMENT that which grows wild and free. FLORAL INSTRUCTION WILL FOCUS ON CREATING A TRAILING COMPOTE ARRANGEMENT FOR a romantically stunning TABLETOP, and discussing the intuitive process and approach in taking ordinary Saturday market flowers and turning them into something truly special.We will also explore the connections between principles of deisgn in floral, and how they translate into photography.
Styling FOCuS:WATCH OUR PROCESS AS WE WALK YOU THROUGH (IRL) HOW WE APPROACH OUR DISCIPLINES TOGETHER IN THE REALMS OF PORTRAITURE, PRODUCT PLACEMENT, AND LIFESTYLE. AS WE CREATE WITH YOU WATCHING, WE SEEK TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, WHY IS THAT PLACED here and not there? HOW DO i know when it’s right and when it’s not right? WHAT’S UP WITH natural LIGHTING? WHAT ARE THE PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN? WHAT DO I LOOK FOR WHEN I’M DOING THIS ON MY OWN? WHAT ARE KEY TIPS AND TRICKS that I can implement when i return home? We will be using the intrinsic beauty of the venue, the textures of the natural world surrounding us, and the curiosities we discover as we wander together.

Lodging in an authentic ancient French castle, in the largest and most impressive agricultural part of France.
All meals and beverages provided by on-site French chefs and set in various locations for the purpose of complete luxuriating and full provincial living emersion.
Professional demonstration and instruction in the discipline of lifestyle and commercial photography.
